Room for Rent

Room for Rent presents a compelling premise rooted in emotional vulnerability, as a lonely widow, Joyce, opens her home to strangers for income, only to reveal darker intentions. Despite strong performances—especially from Lin Shaye, who chillingly embodies Joyce—the film falls short in exploring key character backgrounds and delivers its conflict too late.
